Three things decide what you mine: the MTC you hold sets your level, your level sets the cat and its pace, and food keeps the wheel turning between claims.

In the app

MTC in your connected TON wallet. The server reads it from the chain itself.
In the vault
MTC you’ve staked still counts towards your level while it’s locked.
The server samples every wallet in one sweep and pays on the lower of two samples in a row, so MTC moved between wallets can’t count twice.

The first 200 levels come quickly: level 1 needs 100 MTC, level 203 needs 10,000. After that each cat asks a lot more than the last.
